Arttu Kangas 19.52m in Riga

Global Throwing athletes were competing last week in Riga at Rigas Kausi meet. The highlight for us was Arttu Kangas from Finland, who threw 19.52m and got 4th position- This result gives Arttu 3rd position at the European U23 season list. Other results by our athletes – Trine Mulbjerg from Denmark got 4th position at women shot put competition 16.29m, Oona Sormunen 56.73m in women javelin and Kristo Galeta had an off day unfortunately in men shot put. Leif Arrhenius 20.09m in Leiria

GT Management shot putter Leif Arrhenius had a superb meet at European Winter Cup Throwing in Leiria – he achieved 20.09m. This result was the best for Swedish team in the Cup and also ranks Leif to 7th position at the world season list. Congratulation Leif. We will have a fun summer with great results! Borja Vivas won the meet with 20.14m and Carlos Tobalina was second 20.04m.

Global Throwing Management ready for EWCT in Leiria Portugal

Global Throwing Management has been on a training camp in Leiria Portugal for a week now. Great training, good facilities and ok weather – all that comes to a conclusion this weekend at European Winter Cup Throwing. Athletes participating the meet from Global Throwing Management: Men Shot Put – Mesud Pezer 19.37m, Leif Arrhenius 20.50m, Zane Duquemin 19.42m and Bob Bertemes 20.56m. Discus Throw – Sanna Kämäräinen 60.94m and Leif Arrhenius 64.46m. Hammer Throw – Mark Dry 74.82m Good luck to you guys and throw far! Tim Nedow 19.98m season opener in Dusseldorf

EAA PSD Bank meeting was held today in Dusseldorf Germany and Tim Nedow opened his season with 19.98m and 4th position. This result gives him 11th position at current world indoor season list. Tim had a decent series 19.28, 19.81, 19.95, 19.72, x, 19.98. Ryan Whiting from USA won the meet with a new world lead 20.83m, Christian Cantwell second 20.53m and Asmir Kolasinac third with 20.06m. Tim Nedow will start his indoor season in Dusseldorf and Toruń

Canadian Shot Putter Tim Nedow will start his indoor season at EAA meet in Dusseldorf, Germany 29 January. The start list for the meet is really high-level and hopefully it will produce some great results. Current world lead is 20.78m by Tomáš Staněk.
